My workshops allow you to slow down and unwind, letting you to stop and just be.

Are you feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or simply in need of a peaceful escape? Rest & Restore is the perfect antidote. Designed to gently guide you into a state of profound relaxation, this workshop offers a sanctuary from the demands and distractions of everyday life.

Rest & restore

  • Journaling: allow yourself to express your inner thoughts and emotions on paper, providing a space for self-reflection.

    Guided Meditation: Drift into a serene mental state with guided meditations that encourage mindfulness and clarity.

    Breath work: Learn breathing techniques that calm the nervous system and help you connect with your inner peace.

    Gentle Poses: Enjoy a series of soothing postures supported by props such as bolsters and blankets, making it accessible for all levels.

  • The practice of restorative yoga is a slow and passive practice, holding asanas for up to 10 minutes at a time using a combination of props to hold and support you, allowing you the opportunity to fully immerse yourself in the present moment and escape the pressures of your everyday life. By offering the physical body the chance to be held you can promote deep release. At its core restorative yoga is a practice of passive healing. It is a practice that is suitable for all abilities, and it can be easily and safely modified for people during pregnancy. 

  • By holding poses for extended periods without straining we begin to access our parasympathetic nervous system.  Calming the parasympathetic nervous system, helps to still a busy mind. It deeply relaxes the body, which then aids with the release of muscular tension, helping to improve mobility and flexibility. It can improve the bodies capacity for healing and balancing. 

    Other benefits of this practice include soothing and balancing the nervous system, helping shift the balance from your fight-or-flight response (sympathetic nervous system) to your relaxation response (the parasympathetic nervous system), boosting the immune system, improved sleep quality, improved overall sense of wellbeing, slowing of the heartrate, lowering the blood pressure, increase in serotonin and oxytocin and reduced levels of stress and anxiety.
